Fermentify
Natural Emulsion Stability. Without Compromise.

Fermentify uses precision fermentation to produce animal-free emulsion stabilizers that improve the taste and texture of vegan foods. We use microbes to produce nature's best emulsifiers, creating sustainable ingredients for applications in sauces, baked goods, ice cream, and other plant-based foods.
Fermentify joined Planet B.io because of its fully equipped early-stage Flexible Bio Lab, and its strong community of biotech startups, scale-ups, and established companies. In the Netherlands, there is no comparable ecosystem with this level knowledge in both ingredient development as well as biomanufacturing. Our goal is to advance from early R&D to pilot scale by leveraging both the high-quality lab infrastructure and the knowledge and experience within the ecosystem.
Main focus
Fermentify uses precision fermentation to create better ingredients that make animal-free foods taste and feel just as good as conventional alternatives.
